The problem

Why most ecommerce stores never launch on Google Shopping.

The result: you stay locked into Facebook and Instagram ads while your competitors collect high-intent shoppers from Google. Five things stop most stores making the jump.

  • 01

Technical setup that fights you for weeks

Merchant Center, product feed structure, conversion tracking, policy compliance — each one a Google interface with its own quirks. Most store owners give up before any of them are live.

  • 02

Fear of getting suspended before you launch

Google's reviewers are AI-first in 2026. A new account that doesn't pass the policy bar gets disapproved feed-wide on day one — sometimes before a single ad runs.

  • 03

Wasted ad spend from a half-built setup

Campaigns running on a misconfigured account burn budget on the wrong products, wrong audiences, or with broken conversion tracking — and the data you collect is useless for optimising.

  • 04

Requirements that change while you read them

Shipping policy formats, returns disclosure, GTIN handling, payment-page trust signals — Google's requirements have shifted three times in the last twelve months alone.

  • 05

No time to figure this out while running the business

Most DIY setups land 40–60 hours of operator time over six to ten weeks. That's six to ten weeks of revenue you're not earning from Google Shopping — and most operators stop halfway.

What you get

Seven deliverables. All yours when we hand over.

This isn't a course or a consulting engagement. It's full done-for-you execution. Every account, every credential, every piece of configuration belongs to you at the end of the 14 days.

  • Compliant Merchant Center account

Built from scratch (or audited and rebuilt if you have an existing non-suspended account). Business verification, shipping, tax, returns, category attributes — all configured to the current Google policy bar.

  • Optimised product feed architecture

Feed structure tailored to your catalogue — titles, descriptions, images, pricing, GTINs and identifiers — designed to pass quality checks and maximise eligibility for Shopping and Performance Max.

  • Google Ads account configured for Shopping + PMax

Campaign architecture, conversion actions, budget allocation framework, and bidding-strategy foundation set up so you can launch Shopping and Performance Max campaigns without rebuilding anything.

  • Website compliance brought to Google's bar

Legal pages reviewed (returns, privacy, T&C, shipping), trust signals implemented (contact information, About, SSL), payment and checkout flows validated. Done before the appeal risk window opens.

  • Feed automation set up

Automated feed generation from your store with real-time sync on inventory, pricing and availability. Error monitoring configured so feed disapprovals surface inside hours, not weeks.

  • Full conversion tracking & analytics

GA4 enhanced ecommerce tracking, Google Tag Manager implementation, conversion actions, cross-platform attribution. The numbers you need to optimise — not just see what happened.

  • 30-day post-launch technical support

Thirty days of technical questions answered after handover — feed issues, tracking validation, Merchant Center hiccups. Not ongoing campaign management; targeted operator support while you find your feet.

How we work

Four phases, fourteen days, one deliverable.

The build is sequenced so each phase de-risks the next. Compliance before account. Feed before campaigns. Tracking before launch. By day 14 you have an account that's ready to serve — not a draft you finish yourself.

  1. Phase 1 Days 1–3

    Foundation & compliance audit

    • Full store audit — products, categories, policies, technical infrastructure
    • Niche and category analysis against current Google policy posture
    • Competitor Shopping research (who's serving, with what feed, against what queries)
    • Legal-page audit — returns, privacy, T&C, shipping — and rewrite specs where needed
    • Trust signal audit — contact, About, SSL, structured data, payment trust
  2. Phase 2 Days 4–8

Merchant Center + product feed build

    • Merchant Center account created and business-verified
    • Shipping settings, tax, returns and policy compliance configured to current standards
    • Product feed structure designed for your catalogue size and complexity
    • Title / description / image / pricing / GTIN / identifier optimisation across the feed
    • Feed automation and real-time sync on inventory, pricing and availability
  3. Phase 3 Days 9–12

Google Ads account + tracking foundation

    • Google Ads account set up, linked, structured for Shopping + Performance Max
    • Budget allocation framework and bidding-strategy foundation in place
    • Conversion actions, GA4 enhanced ecommerce, cross-platform attribution wired up
    • Google Tag Manager implementation and event validation
    • Audience / remarketing pools seeded for the first month of campaign data
  4. Phase 4 Days 13–14

    QA, handover & documentation

    • Full system QA — feed approval, conversion-event firing, policy-compliance walkthrough
    • Written documentation of every account, credential and configuration choice
    • Access transfer — every account in your name, every login under your control
    • Operational training session (feed management, campaign monitoring, what to watch)
    • 30-day post-launch support window opens for technical follow-up
Who this is for · who it isn't

Honest filters before you book a call.

This is a productised service with clear scope. A 30-minute call confirms the fit before either side commits. Below is what we will and won't take on — read it before you book.

Right fit
  • Shopify and WooCommerce stores
launching Google Shopping for the first time
  • DTC operators
stuck on Meta and ready to expand to high-intent search demand
  • Brands scaling past hobby stage
who need a professional setup, not DIY guesswork
  • Operators who tried Google before
got frustrated, and want it built right this time
  • Stores migrating to a new account
after a previous business closed or rebranded
Not a fit
  • People who want to learn it themselves
this is done-for-you — try the Skillshop courses instead
  • Dropshipping operators
we don't set up or recover dropshipping stores in 2026
  • Stores selling prohibited or restricted products
firearms, supplements, certain CBD and adult categories
  • Operators with no paid-ads budget
a $0 ad budget on a $4,000 setup makes no financial sense
  • Stores still suspended from a previous account
start with recovery first — see the sister-page comparison below
What makes this different

Four things that aren't optional.

Every agency selling Merchant Center setup says the same words — "professional", "scalable", "compliant". These are the four things that actually separate a setup that holds in 2026 from one that gets disapproved in week three.

  • 01

Built to Google's 2026 compliance bar

Most DIY setups are following YouTube tutorials from 2022 or 2023 — pre-AI-reviewer, pre-Demand-Gen, pre-current returns and shipping disclosure rules. We build to what Google's AI-first reviewers actually pass in 2026.

  • 02

    Compliance-first sequencing

The #1 killer of new Google Shopping accounts is a feed-wide disapproval on day one. We bring the site and feed to the compliance bar before the account starts serving — so the first impression Google has of your store is a passing one.

  • 03

Scalable from 50 SKUs to 50,000

Feed architecture, automation, and account structure designed so the system you launch with at 50 products still works when you hit 5,000. No rebuild required when you scale.

  • 04

    Full ownership, no lock-in

Every account, credential and configuration is in your name from day one and documented in writing on handover. No proprietary feed tools, no agency-owned login, no subscription you can't cancel. We hand the keys over and walk away.

Pricing

$4,000 AUD, fixed. One-off. No retainer.

The fee covers the complete 14-day setup, every deliverable below, and 30 days of post-launch technical support. No hidden fees, no monthly subscriptions, no proprietary tools you can't take with you. For roughly what most stores spend on a single month of social ads, you get a Google Shopping foundation built to last.

GMC + Shopping setup — done-for-you

14-day done-for-you build covering Merchant Center, product feed, Google Ads foundation, conversion tracking, and post-launch handover. Single Shopify or WooCommerce store, single country target.

One-off
Investment
$4,000 AUD · one-off · paid 50/50 (kickoff / handover)
  • Compliant Merchant Center account, fully built and verified
  • Optimised product feed architecture with automation
  • Google Ads account configured for Shopping and Performance Max
  • Website compliance brought to Google's current bar
  • GA4 + Tag Manager conversion tracking, end-to-end
  • Full operational documentation and access transfer
  • 30-day post-launch technical support
  • Senior consultant on every step — no junior handoff
* Already suspended? Start with GMC suspension recovery from $599 — setting up a new account while the old one is suspended is a fast way to get the new one banned too.

When the fee adjusts

  • Multi-store or multi-country

A single Shopify store on one country target is the base scope. Multi-store, multi-domain or multi-country setups are scoped on the call — typically a 30–60% uplift on the base fee.

  • Custom platform

Shopify and WooCommerce are the standard platforms. Magento, BigCommerce and custom stacks are scoped separately — usually a 20–40% uplift to cover the platform-specific work.

  • Catalogue complexity

Up to ~5,000 SKUs sits at the base price. Larger catalogues, complex variant structures and feed-mapping work for niche product categories are scoped on top.

The fixed fee is confirmed in writing on the 30-min call before any commitment. Never charged on assumption.

DIY vs done-for-you

The real cost of DIY isn't the $4,000 you save.

It's the operator hours, the trial-and-error weeks, the suspension risk, and — most of all — the revenue you're not making while Google Shopping sits empty. Side by side:

DIY approach

  • 40–60 hours of operator time over 6–10 weeks
  • High risk of feed-wide disapproval on first feed submission
  • Weeks of trial-and-error against changing policy requirements
  • Ad spend wasted on misconfigured tracking and broken attribution
  • Ongoing technical headaches when feed rules change
  • No documentation when an employee or contractor leaves

Hire Search Scope

  • 14 calendar days from kickoff to handover
  • Compliance-first sequencing — feed approved before campaigns serve
  • Built to Google's 2026 reviewer bar — not 2022 YouTube tutorials
  • Conversion tracking validated end-to-end before launch
  • 30 days of post-launch technical support included
  • Full written documentation — every account, credential, decision

A store doing $40k/month on Meta that should be doing $80k once Google Shopping is live is losing roughly $1,300+ per day every week the setup drags on. At day 14 vs day 70, the difference is real money.

We don't set up dropshipping stores.

The traditional low-quality dropshipping model is dead on Google Shopping in 2026. Google's reviewers are AI-first and the trust bar is materially higher than it was a year ago — auto-generated product pages, AliExpress imagery and missing product data trigger an immediate disapproval that no clever feed work can bypass.

A $4,000 setup paid for a store that gets suspended on day one helps nobody — and we won't set one up just to take the fee. We also don't handle dropshipping recoveries afterwards, so this isn't a service we can sell you cleanly even if we wanted to.

Please don't book a call if your store is a traditional dropshipping operation. If you operate a legitimate ecommerce business — Shopify or WooCommerce, with original products, licensed inventory, or a real fulfilment model — we'd be glad to take a look.

No. The point of the service is that we handle every technical decision and implementation step. You provide store access, business documents (ABN, returns policy details, contact information), and approve the few decisions that need an operator call — category mapping, return policy wording, budget framework. We do the rest.

Shopify and WooCommerce are the standard scope. Magento, BigCommerce and custom stacks are available as a scoped uplift — typically 20–40% above the base fee depending on platform complexity. Wix and Squarespace are not supported because their feed and tracking integrations make a robust Shopping setup uneconomical.

We build to Google's 2026 compliance bar specifically to prevent first-week disapprovals — site, feed and account configured to current policy before serving begins. Google's decisions aren't 100% predictable, so we don't claim a setup is suspension-proof. What we do commit to: if your account is suspended within the first 30 days due to a setup issue we made, we resolve it at no additional cost.

No — this is a setup service, not ongoing campaign management. We build the foundation; you (or your in-house team or an ads agency) run the campaigns from there. The 30-day post-launch window covers technical questions, not campaign optimisation. Ongoing management is a separate engagement and we're happy to discuss it.

If your existing account is in good standing, we audit and bring it to the 2026 compliance bar rather than starting fresh. If your existing account is suspended, do not start with this service — start with GMC Suspension Recovery from $599. Setting up a new account while an old one is suspended is the fastest way to get the new one banned too (Google links accounts across business identity, payment data and device signals).

Paid 50/50. $2,000 on kickoff after the call (when access starts and Phase 1 audit work begins), $2,000 on handover after Phase 4 QA and access transfer. No hourly billing, no scope changes after kickoff unless something fundamental shifts (e.g. a discovered legal-page rebuild). Multi-store, multi-country and custom-platform scope is confirmed in writing on the call before kickoff.

The traditional low-quality dropshipping model is dead on Google Shopping. Google's AI-first reviewers flag auto-generated product pages, missing product data and recycled imagery on day one — no amount of feed work bypasses that. A $4,000 setup paid for a store that gets suspended on day one helps no one. We also don't handle dropshipping recoveries afterwards (see the separate notice on this page).

Yes. Performance Max is the default Shopping campaign type for new Merchant Center setups in 2026 — campaign architecture, asset groups, signal feeds and conversion-value rules are all part of Phase 3. Demand Gen is set up where the product mix and audience match (typically lifestyle, fashion and DTC categories). What we don't do is run the campaigns long-term — that's a separate engagement.

Most agencies bundle a $1,500–$5,000/month retainer that mixes setup, management and reporting. You pay forever and you don't own the build. This is a fixed $4,000 one-off that gives you the foundation outright — every account in your name, every credential in your control, complete documentation on handover. From there you can hire a manager, run it in-house, or pause and come back later. No lock-in.
